On March 1st, 2008, Kyoshi Robert Kristensen was promoted to Hachi (8th) Dan! He is one of only 7 Hachi Dan in the Isshinryu World Karate Association (IWKA). Congratulations to Kyoshi from the entire Kai!

2009 IWKA Isshinryu Karate World Championships in Pittsburgh were a success! Congratulations to all who were able to go! Out of 25 competitors we brought home 40+ trophies! The tribute to Hanchi Duessel on Friday night at the banquet was outstanding. Thanks again to Hanchi Duessel for continuing to lead the IWKA in the USA!

With over thirty years experience training and teaching in Isshinryu Karate, Kyoshi Kristensen has a wealth of knowledge to share with others. Kata are on one DVD. Hanshi Duessel performs each Kata first slowly, then at
