TIKK will participate in the Spirit of Coppell-Independence Day Parade on July 4th. Parade starts at 10AM. Meet at Coppell dojo at 8AM for carpooling or else go to parade start at Sandy Lake and Samuel. Wear a gi and walking shoes and bring sunscreen. Any questions call Sensei Palos 940-390-0192. Our very own Greg Midkiff of the Denton dojo has been nominated for the Spirit of Isshinryu award. This award is bestowed by the Isshinryu Hall of Fame and the winner will be selected at the tournament/banquet in Gatlinburg, TN. Way to go Greg!!

On March 1st, 2008, Kyoshi Robert Kristensen was promoted to Hachi (8th) Dan! He is one of only 7 Hachi Dan in the Isshinryu World Karate Association (IWKA). Congratulations to Kyoshi from the entire Kai!
